Hi DJSpike. Yes, I'm a BLer. I think you misunderstood my post. I was directing my questions to HeyIam. I posted under his post to question some assumptions he had. He seemed to be assuming that all of our sexual feelings are lust simply because they are for boys and not women. He seemed to assume that we must repent of them because they are sinful, unlike his feelings for women. I do not believe we must repent for our orientation. He seemed to assume that if we truly repented, God would changes us so would be straight. I do not believe that. I wanted to point out how harmful it is to people to claim that the reason they are the way they are is because they are rejecting God. I consider this to be spiritual abuse. This applies whether we are talking about a sickness or simply a characteristic of individual variation. I believe that our BL orientation is such a variation, not a sickness. I pretty much agree with what you wrote about the difference between lust and love, and how you see the BL orientation. Mark |
