Hi Chris. Sure wish you had told me some of this stuff earlier! I always pictured you a pretty content and happy guy! Hmmmm, what can we do about this? It sounds like all you need is a recording contract. I will sign you up next week to record on my attached "Good Boy" label and advance you $20,000.00 which I'll just recoup from sales. Then I'll book you on a tour of the jr. high schools of the east coast plugging your album. I, of course, should probably tag along. Just in a "crowd control" capacity. Well...that was all just bull. It would be so much easier if we didn't all have to hide in our caves. Then you would have so many more options. I think of these boylover forums as sort of a brotherhood. But the benefit of that is so much more limited than most "brotherhoods" since we can never be too careful about letting our identity be known. It would be so easy for me to say, "hey bud, c'mon down here and move in with me! We'll jam and have a good old time!" but, well, you know how that goes. But I love you enough to do that. Please don't have too much pride or fear to ask your friends for help. Even if it goes beyond just the normal online help. And, as always, keep your faith strong and close. You will make it out of this little bump in the road, just wait it out and you'll see. It's only in retrospect sometimes that we see just how it was possible all along. By the way...I save my praying for when someone really needs it. And this morning, I'll be praying for you. Don't worry about keeping up with your emails to me. (I don't) :o) And for pete's sake, don't worry about your internet connection! I know how to reach you and I'm sure your other friends do too. And I will reach you. Please believe that. My friend, I know it's got to be so hard on you right now. I'm so sorry for you. These things have ways of making us stronger and wiser. The best you can do right now is just smile about it all. Just laugh in the face of all of the troubles. God will work them out. Your friends are here for you. Do not worry. Chris, just hold your head up and don't give up. You deserve better than this and that's just one more reason why it will get better. We all love you. And will help as much as any of us can. Your friend, BLues. |
