Hi Chris & Von:

Sometimes when bad things happen it is directly due to sin, and other times it is not. We need to remember that the Lord is indeed rich in mercy and slow to anger. And the discipline of the Lord is sweet, as He is our loving father. Amen, to what Chris said, for as Job told his friends, that we cannot always interrupt that when bad things occur that it is direct proportion to the gravity of our sin. Consider what our Lord taught of the tower of Siloam, and Sodom & Gomorah. All men are deserving of hell fire from God.

Chris & Von I will be praying for you both. May you know of His rich mercy and how He works all things out for good to those who love Him. Remember what Paul and James taught about trials, they work patience. Romans 5:3 and James 1:3. Patience in trusting in our Lord and Saviour.

May He have that result in you both to trust Him and His wisdom.

Love in Christ,
Compassion.
