Hi Chris: How are you doing brother! Trust the Lord is giving you grace in the midst of your difficulties. How did the operation go? I haven't had one of those myself but know of people who have, and know that lifting or exertion is out of the menu. Trust you are relaxing more, although in the midst of your other difficulties I realize that can be hard. May I share a message I heard today. That coming to God in prayer does not mean just thanking Him when things go well, but also when things go terribly wrong. I know this is easier said than done, because I have been there and done that. When you are feeling miserable and rotten to give thanks is almost out of the question. However, I do sense in you a not complaining spirit. Attitude is the key to being content, as the apostle Paul said. "Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice." Phil.4:4 and "I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phil.4:12,13. May He who holds the heavens in his hands strengthen you to know that He is got everything in control.
