Hi F.O.D., And I helped inspire all of THAT? Praise God! Your study has my head spinning a little, brother. I am beginning to come up with a few ideas of my own. Here is a thought, see what you think, ok? For some time now I have had a great fascination with Christ's Last Supper. He told his desciples to take and eat of His body and drink of His blood. He gave them bread and wine to eat and drink, but from what HE said, it was not mere bread and wine. My thought on this is, what happens to food once we eat it? (I hope this dosen't seem vulgar to anyone, but I can't think of a better way to say it.) When we eat something, it becomes a part of us. And so, isn't this a very strong way of seeing how Christ becomes part of us...one with us? It is just a thought for right now, I haven't thought about it much until I read your Theosis study. Oh man, Fod, keep going on THIS study!!! I can't tell you how much I am in awe of God's Holy Spirit working through your studies. Keep us informed, ok? And I am also very curious to see if Dirk or Jules, or anyone might have to add! Amen, brother, AMEN!!! Love, Chris |
