With this latest outbreak of the flu in North America, here is something a brother shared with me of late. First I need to let you in on a secret I am part Italian. What this brother said was, "Viruses are spread more by hand shakes than any other means". I believe he is right! I was brought up with {{{hugs}}} and kisses [usually on the cheek] when I was young. I find that hand shakes usually are cold, and distant. Hugs make one feel warm and wanted. With a hug you can not spread a disease, at least easily. Most males do not wash their hands after using the rest room, and most people cough into the hand they shake with when they have a cold. I am going to try to use hugs more, where appropriate. As we know NA's think to hug is gay. Whereas Mediterians have no problem with that. At least that is my experience. What are your thoughts on this...
