Wow! The thought of being brought up with lots of hugs and kisses... If only... It's taken me a long while to get used to the idea of hugging friends, but there's actually quite a lot of it going on where I am now, between guys, and it's really therepeutic. Physical contact without it being presumed to be 'sexual' in the way people normally think of it. Philia and even eros, without epithymia. That's what we all need.
