Heather, I appreciate your thoughts on this. Yes, I too find myself not wanting to come across to condemning, and wanting to share the Love of Christ for those in here that I didn't spill all my views. One passage that hit me today was II Timothy 3:4,5
"Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;"
From this I took it that what I do not want to promote is a love of pleasure more than our love for God.

There is no question we all struggle with the things of the world. Romans 7 is an example of Paul's struggles with doing God's will. The balance comes is do we want to bash people into the kingdom, or love them into the kingdom. Therefore, we need to sensitive to others in where they are at, and prod them along with the word of God. For it is the word of God that speaks to hearts and changes them to follow after God, and not any of our ploys.

In my own confession, I want to be absolutely honest. I being a BL believe that God can and is using BL to influence boys to follow after God. I have been to the mountain tops and the deep valleys, and I pray I get brave enough to be like Mark and share my story. I have seen boys [girl's as well] just longing to learn more about God after God had converted me. But I also have fallen. To say that God cannot and will not use a BL, is to say that there is an area where God is not powerful.

Oh the great wonders of His mercy that reaches down to the depths, of yes a boylover like me. But if all mankind was honest they too have failed miserablely. That is the point of salvation, God can do what man cannot.

So in conclusion, I say that yes there is an area of concern and you do not want to condone what God has condemned, but on the other hand you do not want to become as the pharisees in Jesus day. Ready to condemn, to make themselves look good. Perhaps, when addressing BL in the future you could relay you have an area of concern, and ask them to consider what scriptures teach on it.

With Christian Love,
Compassion...:=)

PS How is that you seem to understand a BL where all the women I dated and got to the serious part could not understand my failures. They for the most part considered it worse than murder.
I find men have a different level of sexual drive than women, and I think this makes the difference.
