Hi F.O.D., Good to hear from you, brother! I can see what your saying, bro, that there is misunderstanding and prejudice on BOTH sides of the "fence". It's terrible and I'll bet the time will come when ALL involved will be vey sorry. That is why the attitude of the pastor I wrote about was so apalling to me....to say that ANY person is not welcome to come to a church, belief, denomination, etc, to find the Lord or to worship, is REALLY bad! And then there are the churches that openly hate and scorn gays...not good, man, not at all. I don't mind your cynicism at all, F.O.D., the way I see it, it's getting pretty difficult NOT to be cynical about Christian churches throughout this country. When I read things like this it just makes me shake my head...or wanting to hang my head in shame. How many people are these churches actively turning awy from the Lord and salvation? I don't know, but things are looking pretty bleak. I thank God that HE loves us, and somehow God always finds a way to reach us DISPITE these churches who hate us. I'll tell you what, they like to say,"Hate the sin, but love the sinner", but it looks to me like a great many churches aren't following this "rule" at all. It's sad!
