is not dependent on ones reaction to God. They are not spiritual Isreal. They still have the recognition of one God, like the Christians. Are we able to lose our salvation, or is our salvation dependent on the giver. Likewise the covenant to Abraham and his seed, was both physical and spiritual seed.

This is my understanding of God's convenant. The rejection of Isreal by God was that no longer do the pagan's have to become Jew with all of its rituals, etc. Now salvation is offered to all, jew or gentile alike. The salvation message is the same in both OT and NT, saved by grace through faith. But in the OT their was a need to convert to become jewish.

I am not agreeing that because Isreal is God's chosen race in the physical realm, they are perfect. Far from it! A matter of fact christendom is scared by some of the same failures as Isreal. But christendom is not Christianity, for it resides in the heart not in church buildings. The Isreal of today do not adhear to any remanents of being a true follower of God, but that does not remove God's mark to the world that they are His. That is they are mine, and if any mess with these then they are messing with me [speaking of God].

Love in Christ,
Compassion...:=)
