Hey,

To start with, I realy want to thank you for the encouragement and your prayers (all the rest of you who have replied too). It realy helped me a lot. I am still doing fine, but have a long way to go yet ... so I can still use all the prayers I can get.

From your post I gather that you share the opinion of the NPGA (correct me if I'm jumping to conclusions here).
I have to say that I don't, I too am convinced that it is a dangerous delusion which can cause much harm.

Where can you find this record of 2 homosexuaml marriages in the OT?

Apart from the supposedly mistranslated verses, what I seriously doubt, there is still Lev 18:22 and 20:13.
These two verses clearly condemn homosexual acts.

In Genesis, God created the first man, Adam. But Adam was lonely, so
God created Eve, the first women, to keep Him company.
Gen 2:22-24:
Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called `woman, ' for she was taken out of man."
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

Furthermore, why is it that there are countless examples of heterosexual relationships and no clear records of
homosexual relationships in the Bible. When the Bible speaks about issues concerning mariage, you can only see examples
of heterosexual marriages and not of homosexual mariages. I don't you can see this as a case of forgetfullness.
I think this is because God intended man and woman to come together in marriage, and not man/man.

Personally I think that the arguements presented in this article are very poor and speculative. Wouldn't it be an enorming
coincidence if all the in the Bible concerning homosexuality would have either been misinterpretted or mistranslated and that
the Bible consistently failes to record any clear record of acceptance of homosexual relatioships ?
It think that God is being very clear on this point, maybe Rom 1:24 would be suitable here.

I don't want to condemn the NPGA. They are probably very sincere christians, but it's also possible to be sincerly wrong.
I understand that the Pentacostal leaders do not want to be associated with a theology, which they believe is wrong.
When there is a danger of people being misled, you have to speak up (that's why I wrote).

Lots of love
God bless,
zip
