Sheesh Jules, Thank you for your response. I very much believe in Christ, I have always believed in him. I am very afraid of Churches. As a kid, my Catholic friends and cousins mocked Protestants. Of course my Protestant friends and cousins did a number to the Catholics. My parents were one of each. When I think of churches I get mixed memories. I can proudly remember reciting the books of the Bible and belting away the loudest "Onward Christain Soldiers" you ever heard. But I also remember so much hate and intolerance. I attended services and masses, somethings both on the same Sunday. I think I would like to attend a service once in a great while but I would want to be anonmyous. The hand of fellowship and all the efforts to get you to join scare me. I think right now this board is about the closest I will get to a church. If you don't mind I will listen in. Thanks, Sheesh! |
