"Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was unwanted and you adopted me. I was destitute and you fed and clothed me and helped me back into society. I was sexually abused and you treated me with love and compassion. I was unsure of my sexuality and you welcomed me into your church." Lord, when did we do these things for you? "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." "Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was unwanted and you left me in a cruel institution. I was destitute and you hired me out for sex, and gave me none of the profit. I was sexually abused and you made me testify in court. I was unsure of my sexuality and you kept your distance." Lord, when did we do these things to you? "I tell you the truth, whatever you did to one of the least of these, you did to me." |
