This may seem overly simplistic and might not be appropriate depending on how your feelings for boys are manifested but.... Adopt..... There are lot's of hurting boys out there in the foster parent system that need a family. You have a need for intense and loving relationships with boys.....and boys need that. They need to be loved and cared for and some of them aren't getting it. If you had boys of your own to love and care for it would direct your strong boylove feelings to a place where they are useful and needed. I'm not quite ready to do this myself....but I've been thinking about it for about a year. I spend a lot of my spare time doing youth ministry stuff and one the benefits is getting to develop relationships with lot's of different boys. I love it. The more time I spend doing stuff with kids the healthier my boylove attraction....as a gift from God....becomes. And yet I still yearn for more....even stronger relationships and friendships with boys. I'm very close to the boy I mentor but I would love to have 10 relationships like that. I think adopting a boy or two....or maybe five....who knows.....would fullfill my neeeds to have a very close relationship.....a fatherly relationship....with some boys. If your wife is agreeable and up to the challenge, this might be your answer. Don |
