Sheesh,

Certainly there is a world of difference between my father's Freewill Baptist Church and the Presbyterian Churches I attended. For example, my father thought dancing was a sin. My Church had teen dances.

But for the most part there are some common elements that unite Protestants. Bear in mind "I said for the most part." I swear there must be at least forty billion Protestant denominations. All dis-united under a common God.

Most Protestants, as I understand do not believe in the infalibility of the Pope, confession, Mary as the mother of God and I am sure a hundreds if not thousands of other issues.

Thanks to this pope's strong conserative beliefs that demand adherence to certain doctrine, I have seen that a great number of my straight friends are no longer participating in the Catholic Church. Perhaps I am wrong but it is my belief that those who remain within that Church are tightly embracing their church's beliefs.

Sheesh!
