Hi TJ,

I would have to say one of my first Boylove experiences happened just after I graduated highschool too. It was the day after graduation, and I was to go on a mission trip with my highschool youth program. I was not the least bit interested, because all we were going to do was build houses, and my best friend was fixing to leave town for good. I stayed out late with him that night, then returned home, my father threatening to take the car keys if I didn't.

I slept most of the way there, but when we arrived on our site the first day, I was overwhelmed at seeing 2 beautiful boys playing next door. Apparently, we were working on these kids' grandfather's house. Every free moment I had, I played with the kids and had fun telling them about Jesus and why we were there. It was the best week of my life, and a life changing experince. I'd wondered why God would place these kids in my life. I thought it simply a gift, because, at the time, I had no idea what Boylove was. We had so much fun that the week went by very fast. Parting was the saddest thing. We all cried, but I learned that I enjoyed working with kids, and that was where God would have me in my life's work.

In college, I not only worked with youth, but became a youth pastor. Today, I am an educator of young children, and I enjoy it very much. Look upon your feelings as a gift, and God will bless them, be tempted by them, and they will lead to sin. Prayer helps, even if God doesn't take away your feelings, the accountability will help you by leaps and bounds. Comming here will help too. Read, participate, and pray, and you will see mericles happen in your life and here. Only God can be so good, but only you can witness the good work He made in you. I wish you a warm welcome, and please, feel free to e-mail or post if you ever need a friend to talk to, or a concern to be prayed for.

Blessings,
Oliver
