We challenge the claim that there is no overlap between the gay community and paedophiles. A (ex?) friend of mine who is a teacher who is gay can't cope with my status - and was very upset when I enquired whether he felt any attraction to his pupils. The reality that most male straight teachers are attracted by theirs is an interesting question. And of course for those who are in denial of the reality that their age of attraction drifts below the legal age are wound up when they are reminded of this. On the other hand some don't care much; the TV drama in this country starts with a 30 year old seducing a 15 year old, and when I raised this on another gay discussion board, there seemed to be no concern.
