Hello David. I can't say I totally agree with you, but I hope you don't take offense to that. I do understand to some extent what you mean about God and a "little boy" being one in the same. But they are not in my mind. I do believe that a "little boy" can show us our little heaven in the real world. If you are familiar with Steven Curtis Chapman, You might recognize the song, "Heaven in the Real World." Well, the first line is, "I saw it again today in the face of a little child." A lot of times when I see a child, I find that source of Heaven in the real world. About the prophets, I can understand your cynical attitude toward that. I am finishing my school year as you read before. And I took a class that focused ONLY on Old Testiment prophets. I'm sorry to say, but it was one of the worst decisions I've made in my life. It's really turned me off to reading the bible! It's really hard. All those books say are REPENT SINNERS OR DIE FOR THE DAY OF THE LORD IS NEAR! But realize that those book DO have a LOT more than just that. I took a lot of openmindedness on my part to enjoy some of those books. But I DO understand how hard it is. Let me encourage you that God DOES talk now-a-days. But sometimes it's through people telling you something. Or maybe it's through a dream of inspiration. Or maybe it's through a thought (like the one you just had about a bible that speaks to BLs). Sometimes when we think that God isn't walking with us, that's when he's CARRYING us.
