Hi Researcher, While CBF is primarily a support forum for Christian Boylovers, you are certainly welcome to come on in and get to know us. BLs are often looked down upon as the scum of society. This reality means that we really need to support one another and your interest in our plight could be very helpful. I have never engaged in any illegal activity. I am in control of my sexual desires and do not feel that I am a risk to children. In fact, I have told of my attraction to my church community and they formed a support group to walk with me on my journey. I have explained my reality as a marginalized person on the fringe of society (in terms of my sexuality) and they have relayed their own struggles in living out their sexual expression in a way which honours God. I am no more likely to rape a child than your average man is likely to rape a woman. All current research is based on clinical studies of offenders while they are still incarcerated or shortly after release. There is no doubt that this effects the data. Any information you can gather will most certainly be seriously considered by the psychological community. You have courage to tackle such a daunting project! Peace of Christ, Bach |
