What you're saying is fair enough, and I agree sexual temptations are much the same really. Either way, whether Jesus experienced sexual temptation to the girls that attended him or to the boys he was teaching, it's speculation to say one way or the other. We have the spiritual imagery of the church as the bride of Christ, and Jesus as the bridegroom, but it's a different thing to specify whether his actual temptations as a human man on earth conformed to that image or not. The main thing is he understands, and is there to help us work through our feelings, guiding us towards life without sin. F.O.D. |
