thanks for the replies, guys. alot of what you say makes good sense. please bear with me... there has been so much tearing at my mind lately. until lately i've hardly even thought about my spiritual state, but this is one issue that has stuck in my mind after so much time sitting around thinking about things. i believe God used this as a way to get through to me; to stop and take a look at where i'm going. i think that maybe this is where i need to be; maybe to re-define what it means to be a boylover... you said that as christians, we must try to get rid of sin in our lives. so to be a christian boylover, we must get rid of the sin in that. what part(s) of boylove is sinful? with the few suggestions you threw out... being in the company of young boys, caring about them... these are good. sexual contact, lustful thought... this is wrong, not only towards boys but to men and women alike. would you agree? but the sexual thoughts still exist to some degree, don't they? or is it just me? and here's another tough one... how does one describe their attraction to boys? does that fall under the type of thinking mentioned above? i don't know what it is about them... having fun, helping them out with things, just being a friend... or maybe just 'cause they're so darn cute... i dunno' *sigh* the never-ending search for answers... i hope you all don't mind my barging in with a million problems. >_< anyway, i'll leave with that. thanks everybody ^_^ "shonen" |
