Sadly for some of us we don't have the freedom to ask "How can I use this trait?" - rather it is a reality that leaves us stuck with a wound in our lives that makes the experience of life hard work and a struggle. In that context I am seeking to understand the roots of where I am at. This is in order to look for ways of providing other sources for what I am looking for in relating to boys. In that search, the roots may offer a hint as to where to go for that 'emotional nourishment', for lack of a better phrase. Does that make any sense to anyone else? |
