A minor miracle?

I was due out for tea with a woman member of my church, and was less than impressed to get no response from the doorbell of her flat. Being a 'biker chick', as the somewhat abusive term for female motor bike riders in this country is, she was at play repairing her motorbike in the garage down the road and had forgotten the time. Assuming the worst - that she had forgotten our plans - I was about to wander off when someone whom I'd never met before opened the conversation by asking if I'd seen a glove that he had lost(!), and then went on to ask who I was looking for, and pointed me to her. I'm not claiming this was an angel in the technical sense - but it certainly was God's provision for us in providing someone to pass me a message (angellia) which I would otherwise I have missed...... Not a story to be analysed too deeply - why me, why not X when Y? I don't know - but it really felt God to be looked after in that small detail of my life tonight. |
