We can't just ignore how society views us, and that goes for anyone. The fact is that it is the responsibility of the adult in the relationship to consider the social aspects that would affect the boy that the boy may not be able to anticipate.

Another question in all this is.. if this is a cost/benefit analysis..can we really trust a BL to make that kind of critical thinking type of decision in the heat of the moment? To decide that for himself AND the child? People have enough problems making adequate decisions like that in their own lives, I think it is problematic to believe a bl in the heat of passion could make a call like that.
