Hi jsd,

I totally agree that we shouldn't ignore how socieity views us. In FACT that is largely my point. We need to pay attention to the difference between social attitudes and reality. To make a separation between them and to avoid buying into incorrect social attitudes.

I am not saying, "society is wrong that man/boy sex it harmful so it's ok to do it". I don't believe that for one second.

I'm not even saying, "society is wrong that man/boy sex is ALWAYS harmful, so IN SOME CIRCUMSTANCES it's ok to do it".

My point is that we need to see (as people who desire such things) that desiring them does not make us the mosnters society would have us believe that we are... and that even if we acted on these desires we wouldn't be the monsters that society would have us believe we'd become.

I do NOT advocate man/boy sex under ANY circumstance. But my reasons are for holiness sake.

I don't trust any person (boylover or otherwise) to make appropriate decisons in the heat of passion. But I think that we can accept outside of the moment of passion that man/boy sex can sometimes be a very satisfying AND DESIRABLE experience for all involved and live with the impact of that reality on our lives. For me that means that I need to set boundaries on myself so that I don't flirt with boys, that I'm not alone with boys in potentially compromising situations, that I don't nurture my yfs in a romantic fashion and that if I see awakenening sexual interest in a boy I'm engaged with that I be ready to say "no, it's not appropriate" to any of his advances.

Blessings
Cat.
