Christian BoyLove Forum #56252

I don't think that would be good enough. Like minded individuals are far more likely to become friends than people with little in common. Thus allowing people to bring in friends would skew the results by over representing people who are similar to the people who invite others. It would, in effect, be like allowing those motivated enough to spread the word to be counted more than once.
Beyond that, it also makes the results representative of less than if we stuck with just cblf members. If we stick with cblf members and enough people respond to the poll, we can at least say with some certainty that the poll is representative of the experiences of current active members of cblf. If the poll includes people who don't even come to this board, then the poll is really not representative of anything because the only thing it could have been a big enough sample of was the current members of this forum. Allowing people from the outside to respond is both problematic and counterproductive. |
