It depends on what the goal of this survey is if there is one.

If Rainboy does separate the finished product by cblf members, others, and totals than as long as people understood that we can only learn about the members here in such a survey than we will still get what we are looking for.

I agree with your assessment but think some people are doing this just for fun and asking others to post for this or using info from friends will not skew results just for fun. If someone is looking to really learn something from this than adding those other people would detract from it but Rainboy has said he would keep the results separate when he compiles them.
