Over the years I have found that for me my AoA has changed some what. But the problem with AoA for me is I also lived a gay lifestyle until about two years before I got married, during the two years I became celibate. So some times because of the same gender attraction the line kind of blurs. But generally as a BL my AoA is around 8-14.
As far as my YFs some of them I am still in contact with but most of them have faded away. It seems that when most of them hit the high school years they get into their friends and find a whole new world gaining and finding their independence. And me being a mentor and an adult they pull away no longer needing what I have to offer because they are now pretty secure as young adults. Kind of ironic that they are secure because of all the work I put into their lives and then lose them for that reason! But then there are always a few that remain friends and then there is always another boy that needs to be loved so I am happy for what I have when I have it. I hope this answers your question if not you can ask me more I don't mind. |
