I agree with this whole post. My dad left when I was 6, and my teenage years were spent mostly searching for what I needed so badly earlier on. When the chips are down (which seems to be quite often) I will resume my search even aged 53. My brother, interestingly enough, is 3 years younger than me and still regards me as something of a father-figure. He is married and has two boys but his relationship with his own sons is extraordinarily emotionally intense and we often talk about this.
On the subject of your post isnt it interesting how any articles on the subject of paedophilia are obliged to contain 'negative' words? (eg. 'grooming', or 'narcissistic' or 'abusive') I think it is a defense mechanism to seperate off the author of the article from the person or people he is writing about.
