Isn't any attempt to correlate cases of abuse with individuals search for a father-figure really playing the game the way that policemen and statisticians do? People with fatherhood issues that may cause unusual or confused attractions are not necessarily drawn to act upon their feelings any more than a person who likes guns is drawn to commit violence. There are such case of course, and the prominence they are given by the public creates a completely misleading connection with others who may have 'tendencies'. Isn't this why we come here in the first place?
