The suggestion that Mormonism is just another denomination won't stand scrutiny when their beliefs are compared with those churches that are regarded as mainstream. The degree to which this is the case is demonstrated by the fact that Mormon baptisms are not accepted as a basis for membership in mainstream churches - if a Mormon wishes to become a member of such a church, they will be required to be baptised by that church. Having been to Salt Lake City and done the visitors centre at their HQ, I came away certain that they have gone badly off the rails.

Having said all that, it may well be that any particular Mormon will in fact be a genuine follower of Jesus and be trusting in him for their salvation because of his death upon the cross and resurrection from the dead....

Here is not the place to get into a detailed discussion about the Trinity and why it is an accurate model of the Godhead whom we worship and why denying it is bad for your spiritual health; on the other hand just leaving the impression that Mormonism is OK really won't do.
