I think the "cat with a canary" analogy is really wrong. First of all, we aren't animals trying to fight an urge to eat. We are rational human beings who have the power to make choices. Why can't people get that through their heads? Everyone makes many, many choices every single day. Why are we considered to be so very different? I had a YF for years and never touched him in a sexual way. Never. I had plenty of opportunities to do that, but each time I made a decision not to. If I had a son, I wouldn't mind him being with a BL who I knew as a friend.
