I'm thinking of the boy I knew in another country decades ago. I saw him often in the village (it was only tiny) and he spoke to me about four times but, although I could never be an OF to him he was most certainly a YF to me. I still think about him every day. It isnt a question of how much time we spend with them surely more the intensity of the relationship? If it was a question of how much time then I never had a YF which is certainly not how it feels from the inside.
