If he only spoke with you four times, then he was never your YF. He may have been a boy you were in love with or whom you cared deeply about or whom you were crazy about, but he was not your YF. You cannot have a YF without being his AF. It would be like someone saying he has a girlfriend but he is not her boyfriend; a person saying someone is his patient but he is not that person's doctor; a man saying a boy is his son but he is not his father; a man saying someone is his student, but he is not his teacher. A YF is a partner in a type of relationship; it is impossible for that to occur without the relationship actually existing.
