The good and the bad in the world does not all happen due to sinfulness. That is just the opposite of the very wrong theology that good things happen to faithful Christians. It is just as wrong to say that all bad things happen in the world due to sin. To say that would mean only bad sinful people get sick or got hurt/killed in the 2004 tsunami or whatever.
