I always thought that things untangible such as morals, goods, bads, and all of that were subjective. Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so is everything else, including reality. To you, it may be wrong to hurt other people, but to others, your view is just an illusion. Not everyone believes in God. The sad truth is that they don't care what your God says. If they can do it, they'll do it.

We build our character upon how we precieve information and how we take it as an individual. We grow to adapt to our current environment and the enviornment has a big effect on people who do "bad"e\. You can't really say that it's a choice, that people do bad so willingly. They do it not out of choice, but out of how they grew as a person; out of how their enviornment molded them. It's what creates such variation amongst our human personalities. Some people just happened to walk a path of "corruption" out of some sort of undescrible force of nature and others, the path of "rightiousness"

I also wish that I could stop this sort of betrayal amongst humans, but I cannot.
