I wasn't expecting it to be (more or less) about a redemptive BL relationship. Hmmm, I dunno...it just REALLY touched me!

The part when Brad Pitt tells the Dalai Lama kid how he pretty much 'saved' him hit me bad. That's pretty much what I always felt and wanted to tell my YF (to put it briefly: that he 'saved' me from myself and my screwed up past and made me see life in a new way) I pictured instantly how many times I wanted to tell my YF how much he meant to me but I never found the right words so I never said anything; and the way they did it in the film was just exactly perfect.

I mean, the movie touched on a lot of other themes too, it was extremely well done and I would've enjoyed it if it didn't have the boy component, but that just made it very special for me.

So: highly recommended. First Britten, and now this!
