I'm happy to be a BL too, but to be honest it's not something I would wish upon anyone I care about. I find happiness in it all the time (I just got a text message that warmed my heart in ways most people wouldn't understand at all), but it's made for some rough patches in my life and if I were able to choose what qualities I had, this probably wouldn't be one of them.

I wonder if his "demons" comment comes out of the common molester/pedophile confusion. There are some sex offenders out there who, you could reasonably say, have failed in dealing with their own "demons". They aren't boylovers, but we tend to get lumped in together in most people's minds, probably including Rev. Bell's.
