It is my view that we each have to fight that so-called "devil inside." that is no nore than an evil spirit leading us to some kind of desire or behavior or mischief.

It's aim is to distract us from our relationship with God as our helper when under their attack. We indeed as ones desiring to be christians are
in a warfare against spiritual forces of an unseen world. Eph.6:10-18.

I do not wish to preach, but to let you know that not only us, but God can indeed be of much help in this fight. His Word, that can be found in the Bible is like a two-edged sword, able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Heb.4:12-13

I often feel this way, when I am moved to do harm to myself or others. I find myself praying, sometimes in tears, that I may be delivered from such temptation.

I want to thank you for sharing with us this problem, as it has moved me to really think of the help I also need as one who is trying to be a true and good christian.
