I was expecting that the emotional aspect would still be there, of course, but the way they're talked about sometimes (I forget what exactly brought me to think about them) gave me the impression they'd have some effect on desire.

I have no trouble with self-control, I was seeking something to help with the everyday pain of living in celibacy. I expect that I'll never really find a solution in this life, but that doesn't stop me from searching.
