I also think that I'm homosexual because I'm male and boys are male. And being gay also means to me that a man feels attracted to men, so I don't call myself gay. But I don't think that being gay is a certain lifestyle (being out much and being a part of a community) - I think I wouldn't like gay bars or clubs if I also felt attracted to men.
