I was looking at it from the point of view that it isn't helpful to promote the idea that such destructive thought patterns are what is to be expected of life as a BL. Using "we" implies that this is a universal part of the BL experience. It isn't. It is a destructive thought pattern that some BLs fall into and others don't and that can be overcome.

If you're stuck in this kind of destructive thought pattern, you shouldn't be told that this is the way every BL lives. It isn't. Nor should you be told that your only hope is to die and go to heavent. It's not. There's hope not just that you will die and go to heaven some day, but that you will overcome such thought patterns and live a happy, fulfilling, joy filled life for many years before you finally die and enter into the presence of God.

Some of us live happy fulfilling lives right now and aren't waiting on death and heaven to finally be happy. We are living the kind of abundant life God promised us (john 10:10, galatians 5:22, john 16:24, Romans 14:17, John 15:11, etc.).

If you are suffering through destructive thought patterns like what Eldad described, don't just give up and wait for death. Get help. Happiness is possible.
