Hi Ken, Yes you do have an awesome church! It is still very rare when a church will at least try to understand one of us. I would say you are very fortunate indeed. I, myself, have a problem with a BL, or a homosexual, who believes they are in some kind of "recovery" from thier sexuality. I do not think of my sexuality as an illness, nor do I compare it to an addiction. I, myself, am a recovering alcoholic, and I know what an addiction is all about.....this is not an addiction. What we have is a sexual orrientation. Not a socially acceptable one, mind you, but an orrientation just the same. I share your desire to reach out to teenagers, by the way. I am living with my YF, who is 18 now. And although my physical attraction to him is over, I still very much love him! He is going through the partying and drinking that most teens do at his age. He has a nice girlfriend, too. Anyway, I get so many opportunities to reach out to him and his friends, just because I don't mind if they "hang out" at our place. I discovered that some of his friends are into satanism. So I believe I can see why God has put me here in this situation. God is moving today, brother. He is not the "stagnent" God that many think of Him as....He is involved and is working steadilly in the lives of His children. You will be in my prayers for sure, Ken, I see His work in your life big time! Keep pressing onward, no matter what. I know things will come up that will make you question your faith, but, keep going anyway. God dosen't reviel His plan to us all at once, but He does give us the faith that we need to carry it out.
