I've heard it all before

lots of times on this board and elsewhere.

On the whole I'm bored of the issue, although I am interested in the question, as I've asked elsewhere in this thread, of what basis Christians choose to make their moral decisions on and why. That is something that is worth further discussion. Sadly however you, Jim, are excluded from that discussion since the decision making basis for a Christian points ultimately to their God - whose existance you reject.

I must admit however it is interesting to have you around because you do offer us such a clear example of the mistakes that we so often make when we attempt evangelism; it is fascinating, if sad to watch as I see someone else try on us so many of the approaches at which I have failed in the past :-( So my question to Jim, although I might draw the answer from the comments he's made elsewhere, is what makes so certain that there isn't a God - since I assume that he isn't equipped with some instrument that proves that there isn't a deity hiding under a rock somewhere in this entire universe :-)

I hope this stirs up some discussion for the weekend?!
