That's so full of crap. Remeber Patty's "Presbyophilia" parody? "A "black" is a "black" because they have darker skin..." Look at the old Jim Crow laws. A "negro" in Alabama was a person who was 1/32 or more decended from Africans. (What is "african" descent was left unclear.) Skin color made no difference. You have never heard of 'passing', blacks who abandoned their community and joined white society because they could "pass" for white? They had to move to a new town where no one knew them. Because, no matter how white they looked, home town folks knew what they really were. Not skin, not genes, JUST THE LABEL defined them. Just the label made them move away and abandon your community. THE LABEL alone forced them into the terrible choice between abandoning their heritage, family, and community; and on the other hand enduring the racial prejudice created by THE LABEL. The LABEL changed their lives, nothing else. Anyway, I'm sure now you are already planning to hang another lie on another oppressive label for me to refute. I have no interest in continuing this. You will just keep redefining for me your racial and sexual prejudices as I refute your oppressive ideas. I can never win against this kind of shit. Like tic-tac-toe, the trick is not to play. |
