I'm not searching for anything. In fact, I'm personally almost 100% convinced there isn't anything to search FOR. All I've said is that if evidence of the supernatural ever presents itself, I'd be willing to examine it.

And man, that book you're talking about is fiction. N dimensional geometry is a common plot device in science fiction because it allows the imagination to run wild and allows the author to pen tales that he wouldn't be otherwise able to reconcile with the physical world.

But creative people writing stories can't and shouldn't alter one's sense of reality. That would be to descend to the level of the uneducated and unaware. I sometimes read science fiction because I enjoy a good story - not because I think Sci Fi authors can teach me about supernatural phenomena.

And even if I were to buy that spirits inhabit some extradimensional space (which I don't), there's an enormous canyon between that concept and accepting that the Christians have it right instead of some other religion.

In fact, I would so sincerely hope the Christians have it wrong because from what I've seen of your religion it's just terribly, terribly black, ugly and evil.
