I agree! Yes we have all sinned, Im the first to admit that I am a sinner, all I was saying is that, as christians we cannot continue living a life of sin. Yes, we may (will) sin from time to time, thats juts part of our nature, but as believers we shouldn't willfully sin, nor practice sin. We are called to be like Christ and live by the spirit. Yes, we will all (including me)at some point fail God. At some point we will sin, all Im saying is that, you cant claim to be a christian and continue to willfully engage in sinful practices. As far as being Gods children, I don't accept that, we are Gods children when we accept Christ into our lives as Lord and Saviour, not before. Scripture tells us because of our sin, we have become enemies of God! And yes, I agree if we sin and yet, we confess our sins to the Lord, he is just and faithful to forgive us our sins. |
