Do we control things or does God control things? Do we not give our concerns to God and let Him control things? Putting this particular post aside, I think our trying to control things often means we are going against what God desires for us. For example, one can control his behavior in a job interview and continue to call to "get the job." Perhaps this continued pursuit on our part to get the job is actually against the will of God. Is life supposed to be so hard? Does NOT God open doors for us? When we are "with God" doors just seem to open up. When we control, life seems more difficult. In a sense, we are going down a path God did not intend for us. Are we going against the will of God by trying to control things? In short, are we trying to control things to get materialstic things (or other NONLASTING things) in order to look good in the world? ~Once a Boy |
