You're jumping a couple hurdles there I didn't even put up. Slow down a bit - the race could go on all day. ;-)

Yes, societal reaction to MB sexual relationships is enormously negative and, yes, that's not something to play with lightly. The taboo is very strong.

All I'm suggesting here is that, in a society that lacked such a strong taboo, the harm would probably not exist.

Therefore, to say that God prohibits such relatioships BECAUSE they are harmful doesn't make a lot of sense.

What if society is actually behaving in ways that cause harm and is actually displeasing God?
