Yes - I unapologetically hold to the traditional belief in the omnipotence of God, who is therefore responsible, if only by inaction, for ALL that occurs in this world. Any other argument requires a less than omnipototent God - and that is not the God of the bible, either Old Testament or New. I am sad that you have turned away from the God revealed to us by Jesus for another 'god' who better fits your philosophy and morality, but it not the Christian God. Thank you for your honesty in admitting where you are coming from; it is so often the case that the liberals persist in presenting their faith in a way that uses the same terminology as the traditionalist, but in practice their faith is actually very other. |
